INFLUENCES FOR FINAL PROJECT

For my final project I have decided to make an art film.  I shot 80 or so 30 second clips of footage on my phone, set in "negative" mode so that colors are reversed, black = white, yellow = blue and so on.  I was initially interested in the way light seemed to condense through the filter into simple shapes.  I plan for this film will be a study in color, shape, pattern and movement.  I intend to use recorded sound from the clips I shot in conjunction with a custom made sound track, ultimately a noise-scape that will help to consolidate the rhythms of movement and create an aural atmosphere.

Finally I am uploading my flash project.  This project took me a lot longer than I had anticipated, I learned a lot about flash though having to start over so many times.  I even had to make some compromises on the final product, it didn't end up looking exactly the way I hoped but I am pretty happy with it.
